Tim joined Warren and Mahoney in 2012 as a Principal. He began his career with a small Auckland practice before gaining further experience at ORMS Architects in London and as a Senior Architect for Jasmax in Auckland. He was a Director of RTA Studio for twelve years before joining Warren and Mahoney.
Having worked on a wide range of large institutional projects, Tim has gained significant expertise in managing the design process; from defining detailed project briefs with complex user and interest groups, to leadership of the design team and Project Management.
Tim has a detailed knowledge of documentation methodologies and technical systems coupled with extensive site experience that ensure project design intentions are fully realised.
Tim’s passion is producing and implementing a depth of design that is visually and spatially innovative, while technically thorough.
Outside the practice Tim is an assessor for the New Zealand Registered Architects Board, the Auckland Councillor on the New Zealand Institute of Architects (NZIA) National Council, and has been a visiting lecturer, tutor and critic at the Auckland University and Unitec Schools of Architecture.
