Simon Brown

Simon joined Warren and Mahoney in early 2007 as a key player in the design and delivery of high profile projects such as The Supreme Court of New Zealand and Christchurch Airport Redevelopment. His expertise in this area has been developed from more than 15 years working in the UK on a wide range of projects including large scale infrastructure, retail / mixed-use developments, civic buildings, commercial offices, healthcare and residential projects.  Simon was appointed a Principal in 2011.

Leading the Christchurch Airport Redevelopment project has been a challenge that Simon has embraced.  The project requires working collaboratively with Australian architects, Hassell, the design team, project managers and contractor alike. The complex and conflicting needs of such a large scale building requires superior communication and negotiation skills.

Simon has a strong understanding of all aspects of the building process and is a respected team player and communicator. His diverse skills and lateral thinking make him a key figure in a project team. He is committed to working closely with clients to ensure that their brief is achieved beyond expectations through good communication, innovation and high quality design.
