Roy Wilson joined Warren and Mahoney in 1978, and was appointed a Principal in 1979 when he opened the Wellington office.
Roy has built a strong reputation as an architect skilled and experienced in the design, management and delivery of public building projects. His consultation, team management, client liaison, and contract administration skills are invaluable when it comes to delivering these high quality projects.
An acknowledge heritage champion, Roy also has a wealth of experience and expertise in other areas. And one of the keys to his success, and to the respect shown to him by the wider architectural community, is undoubtedly the highly ethical approach he takes to everything he does.
In his associated professional capacities, Roy is a past Secretary and Vice President of the NZIA, a former representative of the Professorial Committee of the Victoria University School of Architecture, Councillor of Standards New Zealand, and a Board Member of Site Safe. He is presently a member of the Heritage Advisory Team to the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet.
