Richard Voss

Richard joined Warren and Mahoney in 2006 and was appointed a Principal in 2011.   Prior to immigrating to New Zealand he worked in Germany and the UK for ten years on a wide range of high profile projects in the commercial, housing and retail sectors.  He has specific expertise in high-rise and complex commercial buildings. 

Many of his projects have been published in the architectural press. He works closely with all members of the design team in order to ensure that the client’s needs are carefully met.  Richard enjoys a collaborative approach when leading a project working closely with international architecture firms, specialists and contractors. Richard offers clients and the design team in-depth knowledge of the NZ Green Star rating tool following his involvement as ESD Consultant on the Deloitte Centre.  In addition, Richard offers extensive knowledge of fit-out integration into basebuild architectural schemes. 

Richard appreciates the quality and diversity of projects that Warren and Mahoney attract.  He works closely with colleagues throughout New Zealand using their expertise and knowledge on many projects.  This includes the pioneering spirit of sustainability that reinforces the lead Warren and Mahoney take in New Zealand architecture.
