Architecture allows us to participate in the growth of our built environment, particularly through our public work.

Managing Director,
Christchurch

Peter Marshall

Peter Marshall joined the Christchurch office back in 1985 and took up his present position in 2008.

As Managing Director, Peter has championed the idea of four offices but one team, ensuring that quality staff and resources are shared to ensure that every client receives the very best thinking and the very best service.  He has also introduced systems and prossesses to ensure Warren and Mahoney’s continued success, through ongoing staff development and careful succession planning.

As an architect, Peter has a wealth of experience and knowledge and enjoys the challenge of creating publicly-funded buildings that must stand up to intense scrutiny for many years.  He believes that the solidity and permanence of these buildings, designed and built using quality materials, is what has laid the foundation for Warren and Mahoney’s ethos of high quality for discerning clients.

Peter embraces sustainability, urban design, and the position buildings hold in society, leading expectations and advancing architecture.  Creating timeless, high quality inner city living is something he is passionate about.

Peter is a past Chair of the Canterbury branch of the NZIA and an assessor for the Architect’s Education and Registration Board.
