Hayley Fisher

Executive Team Principal Specialist Christchurch

Hayley joined Warren and Mahoney in 2012 and was appointed Principal of the practice in 2020. In 2021, Hayley was appointed Christchurch Studio Principal. Hayley has worked in the industry for the last eight years in medium to large size architectural practices in Auckland and Wellington.

Hayley has a strong technical capability and has led a multitude of projects during her career of which many are large and complex. She has a special ability to navigate through these complex projects with clarity, maintaining strong and positive relationships with clients groups, design consultants and project managers. Hayley represents a fresh and modern form of leadership which focuses on empathy, empowering others to best their best, and to lead by example. Her commitment to the architecture profession and her unwillingness to accept that women need to choose between a career in leadership and having a family has made her a successful and authentic member of the Warren and Mahoney family.

Hayley’s passion lies in the design and delivery of quality buildings which critically consider their wider context. Currently Hayley is working on a number of projects around the University of Canterbury from concept to delivery including major redevelopment of the Engineering school and renovations of Law, History and Matariki.
