Dominic Plume

It is more rewarding to create an environment from the inside out than from the outside in.

Senior Associate,
Auckland

Dominic Plume

Dominic joined Warren and Mahoney’s Auckland office in 2008 and was promoted to Senior Associate in 2009. His role sees him working within the Interiors team developing and delivering the fit-out design for major commercial buildings and residential properties.

Dominic’s field of interest is the integration of interiors into the architectural fabric, to design a building from the ‘inside-out’. The interiors focus is synonymous with the architectural focus.   He has a real strength in project architecture where communication is a key to appreciate client differences, manage people and the collaborative relationships throughout a project.  He will push the boundaries of design to achieve a unique result that clients and consultants can be proud of.

Dominic appreciates the Warren and Mahoney ‘best practice’ philosophies of sustainability and heritage design.  He enjoys working in a designer practice that demands high integrity in all aspects of their architecture including, the people, design, materials and business ethics.  When leading a project, Dominic has a keen interest in the sustainability factor, using local products wherever possible, keeping to the Warren and Mahoney values, and being a part of the wider design team where each individual’s skills and abilities are integral to the project’s success.
