David joined Warren and Mahoney in 2008 as a Project Architect and became an Associate in 2009. This followed 10 years in London, working with several established practices. He gained his degree at Auckland School of Architecture, and while in London he gained professional qualifications.
David’s architectural experience extends across a broad range of building types and includes large cultural and commercial projects in the UK and New Zealand. His portfolio includes refurbishment of historic buildings, residential refurbishment, healthcare projects and education buildings.
Recently his focus has been on the workplace sector with design and delivery of signature office headquarters buildings and large interior fit-out projects. David is currently involved with developing and delivering Telecom’s Wellington Headquarters.
David’s design approach strives for architecture which clearly articulates its patterns of use and conveys a strong sense of place and orientation.
