Darryl Haines

Darryl joined Warren and Mahoney in 2008. He has been involved in a wide variety of health and education projects leading the design documentation team. Darryl was responsible for Christchurch Hospital’s Emergency Department additions and alterations guiding the clinical team through the design process.

Darryl has been project architect for health projects as diverse as dementia homes, oncology facilities and general surgical/medical wards. He has also been involved in teams providing facility master plans for West Coast DHB and Canterbury DHB.  Darryl was a foundation member of NZ Health Design Council and maintains active interest in this group’s goals to improve health design delivery.

Darryl brings to the project an ability to listen to clients’ needs and works through options to arrive at the appropriate solution.He has strong communication skills and is able to lead and coordinate the design, documentation and construction teams through complex projects.
